Words won't come, and be the magic we need

If it was only as easy, as something you say or read

If only I felt I had the time to spare anymore

Or the strength to give, hours to live, looking for words

I do remember, days of nothing beyond

All the things we were feeling, and the earth that we walked upon

Now that the earth has frozen beneath our souls

And is no longer breathing, only the wind is whispering words

Well I've seen with my eyes, and I've heard with my ears

And I knew in my heart over all of those years

Of the love that we've now gone and left far behind

And the love I fear we might not ever find

And the words won't come and be the magic we need
