In my mind I can see,

The fence post lean

And the hills roll on forever

I said goodbye to the Big Sky,

Hello to the city lights,

Now what I wouldn't give

If I could go back

Oh, the big city fooled me

With her charms,

Now she holds me with

Her steel and concrete arms

I left my home, far away,

But it will never leave me

From up here on this highrise,

I began to realize it's lonely

On this ladder that I've climbed

Looking down on this rat race,
