Sweater Weather

It has come that time
It′s my favorite time of year
Pull out all my flannel shirts and drink a pumpkin beerIt's been a long hot humid summer
My swimsuits have worn thin
I can hear the neighbors watching those football games again
See those autumn leaves on the horizon
Sit out by the fire with the setting of the sun
I was going crazy wasn′t thinking very clear
But now I'm feeling better cuz sweater weather is here

See the changing leaves go from green to red and gold
Walking through the pumpkin patch with a hit chocolate to hold
It's the springtime for our love
When my heart is made anew
Homemade wreath hangs from my front door in autumn colored hues
