Child Care

People going crazy and the future is so hazy
and I can not hold back my laugh
at the little things I stress about day in and day out
I wonder when it's all gonna stop
I get so paralyzed, hardly even recognized
by my close friends and family
I worry about humanity, they worry about my sanity
and maybe they are right, seeing something I can't see

I'm scared of almost everything, then say I don't want anything
'cause wanting really means trying hard.

And the hardest thing I've ever done is claim some respect from mum,
while trying to convince myself of that.
So, this is what it feels like when they say that time heals,
but apparently the ones who said that healed way too fast.
