I was raised in the 201, that′s where I'm from

Student popped off in my grammar school with a BB gun

Middle school student around the corner were smoking some

Went to church that same night my boy said, "give the drummer some" (Ha)

I met God at a young age, it′s so cray

Since '05 I was bumping to Lecrae, parents trained me up this way

Could have been a statistic, that's why I go ballistic

Understanding I was born astray

It all makes sense, plus she made dollars

When my second grade teacher told me I was stupid I had no knowledge

It left me in tears, gave me scars for years

Brokenness led to fear, vision wasn′t so clear

Now I′m 23, chilling, I got my degree

Perspective shifted, my past, I dismissed it

Greatness was born from experience, led to brilliance

Success, went beyond the interferences

All of the craziness and pain I lived

Got me like how'd I make it?

Why is this so complicated?

Why the chaos, anger and hatred?

I feel so humiliated and

All of these moods got me jaded

You see joy and me? There was no affiliation (Plus)

I couldn′t see my genius

Thought I was the weakest

She told me I was nothing, And I would believe it!

But she told me she loved me

So then what was the reason

That she would leave me puzzled and in pieces

Scattered around the idol she built when she took my freedom

And I idly watched as time passed by

But a warrior cannot hide, I did not fight

In the sun, but the idol I tore down at night

Now, I can see a reason why I'm alive

And why He chose me, so I serve Him faithfully

Cuz there is no greater name, who gets not greater praise

And who I′ll worship until the end of my days

We all have an exposition, a story if you will

And it's not a toy that should be played with

To try and hide and erase the lines, that have been scripted in our lives

No, but proclaim it (to infinity and beyond)

So, rise up and take action

Your story is fortunately not always a comedy

And I say fortunately because even though every adventure has its drama

It allows us to grow, to the highest point and know

That your story is not anti-climactic

It may have some action, where it feels like you are falling

But there is a beautiful romance

A love that is unfailing

You can have that all the more

If you, take the hand of the man that can save you from destruction

No, this isn′t science fiction
