Dear mum

I think that I found her

My heart skips and it jumps when around herAround her I feel myself

I don′t have to act like someone else

Which I did for the girls that where in my past

Not all of them but some where hard

Work she aint that by far

She's easy to love and I like that part

At night falls asleep inside my arms

And I know that it′s love but I shield my heart

You know it got broke in the past

I, try, to protect it

But when around her I forget it

Well I don't but I don't feel I need to

There′s something in her that is so new

So I thought I′d say words and show you

There's not a thing with her that is pretend

She′s not just my girl she's a good friend

And she is so fine, and all mine

Might play Playstation to kill time

And I do find, she′s on my mind

When I sit and look at stars in the night sky

See they burn bright and she does to

So no wonder when I look of them I think of you

I love her laugh and the fact its loud

And it may sound odd but I feel so proud

When I hear it, I'll explain it

Cos the fact she can laugh I can claim it

Let me state this, its not all bliss

Cos we do fight at times over dumb s**t

But I do love her and she knows it

So no matter what is said we get over it

I like what she does no secret

Anything that I have we can share it

And she don′t have a lot but we share hers

It's my time more time that she prefers

Now the days that we spend are unique

In the summer we ride through the country

We have picnics and chill out

Sometimes we just sit don't make a sound

We crack jokes though we′re known to have fun times

We might laugh till the point that we both cry

We′ve done so much, in a short time

Got memories to last us a life time

I guess the thing is, there's connection

But to look at us we seem so different

I sit and laugh when I think about my ex′es

Who said we wont work cos we're too different
