I'm trying to remember everything

That we did earlier this evening

As I play back the night we just had in my head

We drove out to the movies

And caught the picture playing at 9:30

Fold down the seats so we can see the screen

And then tell me can you recall

And watching movies on the drive in screen

Is better if you lie next to me

As I fumble and try to do the right frequency

And naming actors from scene to scene

You know them all and I was trying hard to keep up

Cuz I'm sure that this has been

The most wonderful night

That I've ever spent with you

Or anyone

And just lying here with you is my favorite part

The face on the screen is not who I came here to see
